He explained that the law establishes in its article 12 that “any person who, usurping or attributing to himself the representation of the Republic or its entities, participates in any way in actions, negotiations, offers, agreements, commitments or acts of administration, alienation or disposition of any asset, right or interest of the Republic abroad or in the national territory, will be criminally sanctioned and its assets will be subject to the domain extinction procedure”.
While, article 13 states that “any person who participates directly or indirectly in actions, negotiations, offers, agreements, commitments or acts of administration, alienation or disposition of any asset, right or interest of the Republic abroad, in agreement , support or by mandate of persons or entities that act illegitimately claiming the representation of the Republic, will be punished with imprisonment of 15 to 20 years, “he said.
