“Spot or on-site business increased 66% compared to what was registered in 2021, and business expectations increased by 7.2% compared to the same period”, pointed out Flavia Santoro, president of ProColombia.
The Macro-Round 90 allowed the meeting between 1,000 international buyers from more than 50 countries and more than 1,700 exporters from the country.

“This year, face-to-face attendance returned to our Macro Roundtable and we reaffirm our country’s commitment to go from reactivation to growth, as reflected in the preliminary results in which spot or on-site business increased 66% compared to what was registered in 2021, and the business expectations increased by 7.2% compared to the same period. Additionally, the regions showed their competitiveness, commitment and warmth for the realization of an event that brings together businessmen from all over the world.Santoro pointed out.
“Here is a clear demonstration of the opportunities that internationalization offers to reactivate the economy and the interest of the markets for the Colombian offer.”, he added.
The general consensus of foreign buyers who participated in the Macro Round is that Colombia not only offers quality products, but also added value, and providers who dedicate time to research and innovation.
