The Better Citizen Service Centers (MAC) will attend again without the need for an appointment. The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) reported that there is already a fixed date and opening hours so that citizens can carry out various procedures and thus save time and money, because they can be carried out in one place.

In this way, attention to MAC centers will be without the need for an appointment Starting Monday, March 7.

The service to be provided by MAC brings together at least 10 public entities: Ministries of Transport and Communications and of Development and Social Inclusion, Comprehensive Health Insurance, National Superintendency of Higher University Education, National Penitentiary Institute, Banco de la Nación, Judicial Power, Supervising Agency for State Procurement , National Registry of Identification and Civil Status, etc.

What is the attention hour?

Business hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the nine MAC centers located in East Lima (Agustino), South Lima (Atocongo), Cajamarca, Callao, Ventanilla, Arequipa, Piura, Loreto and Huánuco.

However, the PCM specified that prior appointment will only be required to carry out the procedures issuance of electronic passport and issuance or duplicate of driver’s license.

What procedures can I carry out at the MAC centers?

Among the procedures and services, there is a certified copy of birth, marriage and death certificates, a duplicate of the driver’s license, proof of registration of degrees and titles, electronic criminal record certificate, request for a judicial record certificate and criminal, proof of suppliers of goods and services.

Also, the duplicate of the DNI (blue), the rectification of address and marital status, consultation of socioeconomic classification, the payment of fees in the National bank and other procedures of the municipality.
