Lucía Altieri: «I fell in love with Cuba»

I can’t tell you what has caught me, as I have never been able to answer because there are so many things that have convinced me, that have caught me. How hard to say I stayed for this, I stayed because I fell in love with a man. NO. I fell in love with the public, I fell in love with Cuba, I fell in love with everything, with the entire Cuban environment.

From the first moment I set foot in this country, it seemed to me that I had already lived a whole life here. The answer is this, that I like everything about Cuba.

There is a magic that is incredible to describe. Cuban music has a lot to do with Neapolitan music.

For example: humorous sense, playfulness, drama, sentimentality; All these strong feelings I come from a Neapolitan culture, I began to sing Neapolitan classical, I like it a lot and I have felt that here. It was the same feeling that I have experienced.

I believe that the SanRemo Music Awards Festival is a great opportunity for young Cuban talents because they have the opportunity to meet, to exchange with international artists of recognized popularity.

Well, to the Cuban public, I want to say first of all that I love you very much, you are always in my heart and another is that we are going to have a little fun with this great international event of the SanRemo Music Awards.
