The Polytechnic Manuel Aurelio Tavares Justo, in the same sector, only 138 students of the 429 enrolled he has, reflecting an integration of just 32.1%.
The Pan American Lyceum, located in the Miraflores sector, also experienced reduced assistance. The director Raisa Pineda Reyes estimated that between 40% and 50% of the students enrolled in the academic (OBASIC) level attended the center. Of a population of 400, that implies an estimated assistance between 160 and 200 students.
“We are constantly reinforcing the importance of academic continuity, even after a break, but remains an important challenge,” said Pineda.
On the other hand, the Dominican Republic Primary School, in Villa Juana, presented the highest percentage of assistance, although still below the ideal. Junior Belliard, director of the campus, indicated that approximately 60% of the students attended this Monday.
“We have worked in advance, motivating parents, using internal campaigns and conversations to emphasize the importance of each day in academic training,” said Belliard.
