Los Tajibos, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, now in Bolivia

With a harmonious and captivating design, Los Tajibos, located in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, today joins Tribute Portfolio, Marriott International’s growing global family of independent hotels with character.

Located in the business center of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, with 198 comfortable rooms located around extensive tropical gardens and a large swimming pool, Los Tajibos is the first Tribute Portfolio hotel in Bolivia.

Los Tajibos has a strong identity of its own, built over 47 years, and is set to showcase the hidden gems of Santa Cruz de la Sierra for travelers and locals seeking vibrant travel and experiences. With its entry into Tribute Portfolio, the Hotel and the city enter the map of many new travelers from around the world.

“We are excited to debut in Bolivia with the integration of this iconic hotel into the Tribute Portfolio,” said Brian King, president of Marriott International in the Caribbean and Latin America. “The brand is an excellent option for this important destination and will enhance the existing offer in the country”, he commented.

“Los Tajibos offers guests and visitors the best articulation between landscape, design and nature, as well as the best experience in comfort and gastronomy, including the highest world standards of careful service certified by Marriott International”, said Samuel Doria Medina Monje, General Manager of Los Tajibos.

In addition to the characteristic offer of a high-end hotel, Los Tajibos has four restaurants and a bar, lush gardens and outdoor recreational spaces. It also has the Convention Center, the largest inside a hotel in Bolivia, where congresses and international business events are held permanently, as well as gala social events.

“Los Tajibos offers the best of Santa Cruz, falling in love and experiencing the Tribute Portfolio offer: a collection of ‘hotels with a heart’ that meet the service quality parameters of the most demanding global travelers,” concluded Samuel Doria Medina Monje.
