Marset, 31, whose name recently appeared as the alleged intellectual author of the murder in Colombia of the Paraguayan anti-mafia prosecutor Marcelo Pecci, received a passport from the Uruguayan authorities in Dubai despite having open cases against him.

As reported days ago by the Uruguayan newspaper El Observador, Marset received his nationality’s passport at the same time that the Ministry of the Interior collaborated with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in an international investigation led by the Anti-Drug Secretariat of Paraguay.

With that passport, the drug trafficker left the prison where he was imprisoned for carrying false documentation from Paraguay – where, among other activities, he played soccer – and is still a fugitive from Justice.
