He has 22 years of experience as an educator. He has been a professor at the University of Panama, and a primary school teacher at the Juan Demóstenes Arosemena Normal School in Santiago de Veraguas.

The president, Laurentino Cortizo, appointed Ariel Rodriguez Gil as the new Academic Vice Minister of Education of the Ministry of Education (Meduca).

Rodríguez Gil has extensive experience in the school and professional field.

He has a master’s degree in School Management and Supervision; with a postgraduate degree in Higher Teaching, as well as a postgraduate degree in School Administration, School Management and Supervision.

He also has a doctorate in Educational Sciences.
