Santo Domingo.- The president of the People’s Force (FP), Leonel Fernández said this Wednesday that he does not rule out having a first lady accompany him in his political campaign ahead of the 2024 elections.
When questioned by journalists about how his heart is at the Weekly Luncheon of the Corripio Communications Group, Fernández expressed that no one can do things alone.
“A person alone cannot compete, there is no such leadership that corresponds to an organizational, communicational, strategic condition structure. No one can be things alone, even Jesus Christ had to search for the 12 apostles,” he said.

The former President of the Republic also assured that at the moment he is focused on the growth of his party.
“I am focused on the People’s Force, therefore I must dedicate all my time and all my energies there to conclude a political platform that can really compete and be an electorate,” he said.
On his relationship with Margarita
Regarding his relationship with Margarita Cedeño, who is a candidate for the presidential candidacy of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and with whom he had a romantic relationship for 15 years, he said that they have a good relationship.
“Our relationship is very cordial, we have a daughter in common and for us her emotional health is the most important thing,” he said.
