The Evaluation Committee of the Federal Legislative Power (CEPL) released last night the preliminary list of 10,959 candidates to participate in the June 2025 electoral process to elect judges, magistrates and ministers. The final list will be published next Sunday 15.
The CEPL explained that on November 24 The registration of applicants to participate in this historic process has concluded
with a total of 11,646 requests, through the official website of that body, plus 258 files received in the Parties Office of both chambers of Congress, in addition to 15,242 emails.
The committee began the review and analysis of documents and information established in the call, determining a total of 10,959 effective records, based on the principles of gender parity, inclusion, accessibility, professionalism, ethics and transparency.
Among the aspiring ministers are Jaime Cárdenas Gracia, former electoral advisor, and Sara Irene Herrerías, head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Human Rights (FEMDH) of the FGR.
