MIAMI, United States.- Attorneys for victims of the Champlain Towers South collapse in Surfside have reached a settlement in class action litigation, with plaintiffs expected to receive $997 million for the tragedy, occurred in the early hours of June 24 of 2021.

“When this case first came to this court, I told everyone that this would not be a regular occurrence. It was a tragedy of indescribable proportions. If we didn’t have the right people to bring this case, it would be a 10-year job with tens of millions in attorney fees,” he explained.
