The Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Betssy Chavezannounced that the rule that allows the withdrawal of the Compensation for Time of Service (CTS) will be enacted next week, but did not give details on the exact date.

His statements to the press came after he participated, along with President Pedro Castillo, in the signing of the law that allows the sixth withdrawal of AFP funds.
This morning, the head of state had already announced that “soon” the government would deal with the issue of the CTS, to which formal workers are entitled.
During his speech, Chavez justified these measures arguing that there are families with severe needs and asked the population not to use that money for “banalities.”
It should be noted that the Plenary Session of Congress approved on May 7 the withdrawal of 100% of the Compensation for Time of Service (CTS). The opinion obtained 107 votes in favor, 1 against and 2 abstentions. The measure was exonerated from the second vote.
