Killed three subjects who dismembered two women in Barlovento

At the site of the confrontation, they seized a rifle, two short arms, three magazines and 45 cartridges of different calibers.

Three members of the criminal organization El Menchito were killed in a special operation carried out by agents of the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions of the Bolivarian National Police (GNP).

The subjects are accused of participating in the murder and dismemberment of Glendy Teresa Castillo (48), who was a teacher, and Yanir Coromoto Burguillos (33), an event that occurred in May 2021 in the El Cumbo sector, Andrés Bello municipality (San José de Barlovento), Miranda.

Precisely in the early hours of this Wednesday, the police officers killed the leader of the aforementioned criminal group identified as Freddy José Huice (El Menchito), as well as his partners Yondeivi Gustavo Huice Ramos (El Niño) and a still unidentified third party nicknamed El Yoglis.

At the end of the scuffle, the officials seized a rifle, two short arms, three chargers and 45 cartridges of different calibers at the site.

The confrontation took place in the Burgos sector, San José de Barlovento (Miranda), the territory where the gang operated, moving towards El Cumbo and Troncal 9 or the eastern road.

The aforementioned organization is accused of participating in the murders of Commissioner (Cicpc) Eduardo Henríquez, head of the Caucagua Subdelegation (Miranda) and inspector Joel Amador, which occurred on November 1, 2021.

They are also held as the material authors of the beheading of the PNB officer Ismel Burguillo, on April 24, 2022, according to records.

The Public Ministry was informed of the procedure.
