Kidnapped family rescued

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard rescued a family that was kidnapped inside the El Retiro estate, located in El Aime, a rural sector of the Pedro María Freites municipality (Cantaura), Anzoátegui, according to military sources.

The kidnapping victims are: Rubén Elías Luzón Tejada, Migdalia Margarita Pérez de Luzón, Josia Daniel Luzón Pérez and Addielis Alexandra Aray Aray, who were gagged.

During the procedure, the military arrested five members of the Los Finqueros gang, perpetrators of the kidnapping: José Luis Hidrogo Gil, Yorbi Alexander Pérez Velásquez, Oswaldo Jhoan Rodríguez Antuárez, Daniel Rafael Martínez Manaute and Osmer Rodríguez Antuárez.

Two 9mm pistols, two chargers, 27 9mm cartridges, a 3.57 revolver with five cartridges, 4 cell phones and a Toyota Tundra truck, license plate A87CT3G were seized from the kidnapping group.

The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for kidnapping and illicit possession of firearms.

Four days ago there was another kidnapping in Anzoátegui, specifically in the Altamira farm, La Encantada sector, Juan Manuel Cajigal municipality (Onoto). In that case, the victim was rescued by GNB agents who in turn arrested Luis Fernando Cono Ledezma, alias Coroto e’ Patilla, from whom they seized a 12-gauge shotgun.
