Justice determined 25 years in prison for Jaime LV (44 years old) for the crime of rape aggravated against her 15-year-old daughter, reported the Tarija Departmental Prosecutor’s Office.
The aforementioned case dates from 2022 in a house in the city of Villamonteswhere the man repeatedly came home drunk and proceeded to rape the teenager.
“The Public Ministry collected compelling evidence against the subject, among them the psychological evaluation of the victim in which he coherently recounts how the events happened. The statements of witnesses and the medical certificate, which were evaluated by the judge of the Sentencing Court who found the parent guilty,” said the departmental prosecutor, Sandra Gutiérrez.
The father of the adolescent will serve the sentence in the Center of El Palmarfrom the city of Yacuiba.
Likewise, it was reported that in an oral trial hearing he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for Telmo RM and Juan MV, aged 38 and 28, respectively, for the crime of femicide in degree of attempt against their spouses.
The first event, according to data from the Prosecutor’s Office, occurred on February 7, 2022.when Telmo RM physically assaulted his partner, and the second case dates from December 11, 2021 in which Juan MV is involved for beating his 17-year-old wife.
Both cases reported to the Tarija Departmental Prosecutor’s Office They registered in the city of Tarija and are being held in the Morros Blancos prison.
“In the oral trial hearings, we were able to demonstrate conclusively that the defendants are the perpetrators of the crime investigated through the psychological reports of the victims who identified their attackers and other elements valued by the judge,” said prosecutor Gutiérrez.
