As of yesterday, the bankers’ association is no longer chaired by Daniel Becker Feldman, from Banca Mifel, and will be chaired by Julio Serrano Bolívar, from BanCoppel. Two details: the outgoing Becker let his emotion flow at one point in his speech and, at one mistake which immediately caused smiles and the consequent futurist speculation, the President of Mexico addressed Mauricio Vila, governor of Yucatán, in his speech as president. right away corrected the tabasqueño, with the addition of another disclosure. López Obrador has expressed himself positively about PAN member Vila on several occasions. There are still two possible paths for the removal of Edmundo Jacobo Molina as executive secretary of the National Electoral Institute, according to what was indicated by the Morenista federal deputy Hamlet Almaguer, who is secretary of the San Lázaro Political-Electoral Reform Commission.

A judicial process consists of a review appeal that can be presented by the Chamber of Deputies or the legal counsel of the Presidency of the Republic. Almaguer claims to have commented on this possibility in both instances and believes it likely that the corresponding request will be promoted from one of them.

Another opportunity to remove Jacobo Molina could occur when there are four new electoral advisors who will probably be far from the lines of self-protection established in the INE by Lorenzo Córdova, who will leave the presidency of that institute in two weeks, and the remaining executive secretary and, that, due to this distance, they could add their votes to other directors willing to promote the removal of the aforementioned Jacobo Molina (video interview with Almaguer: https://bit.ly/3n1cWtT).
