Julio Borges points out that Maduro replicates Cuban strategy to sell “improvements” of the country

Julio Borges, national coordinator of Primero Justicia (PJ), denounced that the ruler Nicolás Maduro deploys propaganda similar to that applied in Cuba to sell the idea that, in Venezuela, the situation has improved

Julius Borges, national coordinator of Primero Justicia (PJ), denounced that the ruling Nicholas Maduro it deploys a propaganda similar to that applied in Cuba to sell the idea that, in Venezuela, the situation has improved.

In an article published in Infobae, this Sunday, April 10, Borges stated: “It is a strategy that was applied in Cuba during the 20th century and has its origin in the Nazi model. He assured that things are not improving and that there is only a bubble connected with the corruption of the dictatorship ».

He added that when the affirmations are heard that Venezuela was fixed, “we do not realize that we are facing a communicational and psychological war waged by the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro.”

In this sense, Julio Borges reminded the head of Nazi propaganda, Joseph Goebbels: “A lie repeated a thousand times becomes a truth.”

He pointed out that the country’s crisis continues and that what is seen at first glance as dollarization and restaurants are a mirage of reality.

“A myth that those who hold power intend to sustain it based on dollars, concerts, luxurious restaurants, paradisiacal destinations, and all the waste that we can imagine. A gross mirage that only covers 1% of the population that is connected to power”, highlighted Julio Borges.

The opposition leader said that the National Hospital Survey reports that at least 233 people died between 2019 and 2021 due to power outages in hospitals in Venezuela.

This week, Borges pointed out that those accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity are basically the same: Hitler, Putin or Maduro.

“They differ in degree, but not in their nature. Promoters of exterminations, only in order to satisfy their egos and desire for power. These images are a sample of it », he highlighted.
