The Plenum of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) ordered the suspension of judicial terms in courts, tribunals and other dependencies of the Judicial Branch, on Monday, February 28 at the national level.

According to the Judicial Branch, the decision was made after the Government ordered the closure of public offices for this date.

Officials must work from February 15 to 24 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to compensate for the hours corresponding to February 28.

The work in the courts will resume on Wednesday, March 2, after the end of the Carnival holiday date.

Carrying out activities related to Carnival is prohibited to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Those who fail to comply with these measures will be sanctioned.
