Josefina Townsend: journalist was attacked and insulted by protesters near the Congress of the Republic

The journalist Josefina Townsend was attacked by a group of subjects when she was moving through the streets of downtown Lima, near the Congress of the Republic, in the context of the demonstrations after the coup attempt by Pedro Castillo.

In the images that the news program “Buenos Días Perú” broadcast, it can be seen that Townsend is insulted, harassed and physically assaulted by protesters who were on Abancay avenue.
