The President of the Congress, José Williamsrecognized through his social networks that he met with different parliamentarians in the house of Roselli Amuruz. The head of the board of directors defended himself by pointing out that because of his position he holds meetings with different benches.
This after the “Beto to know” program broadcast a report about a meeting they would have had on November 23rd. According to the outlet, the event was attended by Jorge Montoya, Alejandro Soto, Hernando Guerra, Lady Camones, Adriana Tudela and Patricia Juárez.
The Avanza País legislator indicated that the meeting addressed issues of political conjuncture, such as the question of trust presented by Aníbal Torres and the recent ruling of the Constitutional Court that annulled the complaint for treason against Pedro Castillo.

“In a context of political crisis, it is my duty to vigorously defend parliamentary jurisdiction and condemn any attempt to destabilize Parliament’s institutions,” he said on his Twitter account.
One of the congresswomen who spoke out about this activity was Martha Moyano, who pointed out that “political coordination meetings between opposition congressmen is a regular issue and should not surprise or outrage anyone.”
