No. Double and simultaneous shock. The first, disturbing: the failed attempt on the life of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (CFK). The second, hopeful: the beginning of the fifth year of the Fourth Transformation (4T), led by AMLO. Facts that keep communicating vessels.

Two. Different and distant realities? Not so much. Along with Lula da Silva, Luis Arce, Gustavo Petro, Francia Márquez, Rafael Correa, Nicolás Maduro, Xiomara Castro, Miguel Díaz-Canel, AMLO and CFK they share interchangeable and common enemies (read: enemies of democracy, and determined to impose the chaos in Latin America).

Three. Each and every one of the aforementioned leaders have gone through or are going through political processes of high complexity and uncertain course. However, the political will of their peoples orders the march. In which direction? Don’t get ahead of the synthesis. Let us value, for now, the wise observation of the economist Alfredo Serrano Mancilla, who proposes prioritizing the risk-diaper above him risk country (read: the right to life).

Four. What a thing… In years of celebration of the bicentennial of our independence, 70 percent of the inhabitants of Latin America and the Caribbean would like to have the right to life of the remaining 30 percent. How has this been possible? And how is it possible that in a continent with enormous resources, 70 percent think about what their children will eat, and the other 30 continue talking about freedom, democracy, republic, Individual guaranteesand that of which not only of bread the man lives?

Five. Who makes such a reflection, lives in the social fringe inhabited by the referred 30 percent. However, mindful of the terminal crisis of Western culture (US, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean), it is difficult to grant greater credibility to captive executive powers of judicial powers hostile to justice, and legislative powers pending their pecuniary interests.

Six. In this context, the aggressiveness of the ruling classes is due to the fact that they have been left without a project, without a discourse and without proposals like the ones they themselves invented, more than 200 years ago (social contract, separation of powers, toleranceand so on).

Seven. Short anonymous story. One day, the lie and the truth decided to bathe in the same well. Shortly after, the lie put on the clothes of truth and left. Unable to dress in the clothes of the lie, the truth began to walk naked, and everyone was horrified to see her.

Eight. “Polarization” without more? “Speeches of hatred no more? Perhaps it is worth repairing the opinion of philosophers, sociologists, political scientists. But in our opinion these are programmed and very specific policies of informative dumbing down. Policies that the rights that are said modernThey dress in the clothes of old lies. Few, very few, politicians who speak of concentration of wealth. They prefer to talk about poverty. And less media concentration. They prefer to talk about freedom of expression.

Nine. Let us take seriously the words of the Argentine neoliberal politician Ricardo López Murphy, hours before the attack against CFK: Or them, or us. As well as the restraints of a Social Democratic analyst from Le Monde Diplomatique, saying that the linguist he didn’t mean that. Look at you… and then what did he mean?

Ten. Beyond the terrifying climate change that has already begun, the real truth lies in something more terrifying: the US military budget for next year: 850 billion dollars. Eleven. Nor should we feign surprise in the face of so-called hate groupsrated from neo (neo-Nazis, neo-fascists, neo-racists, etc.). In January 1924, for his words and actions, Hitler was sentenced to five years in prison. But the punctilious bourgeois democrats of the Weimar Republic (1918-33) released him nine months later. Because of what? Because of democratic ideas, fallaciously understood.

Twelve o’clock. Well known: Violent words precede action. In this sense, Biden and Truss far outnumber the extreme right-wingers who threaten democratic and popular leaders with death on antisocial networks. And the only way to stop them is with laws that regulate the content of the media.

Thirteen. With identical language, without disgust of themselves, armies of journalists professionals of corporate media, degrade the freedom of expression to mere communicational debauchery. Inducing, in turn, the extremists who in the antisocial networks enhance their falsehoods, with grievances, insults and death threats. Thus, lies disguised as truth walk freely with total impunity… and few are horrified.
