After reading an agreement rejecting the “frustrated assassination” against Maduro, and on which 17 people were sentenced this Thursday, August 4, Rodríguez affirmed that they will accompany the extradition requests against former deputy Julio Borges and Osman Delgado Tabosky, whom Court 1 with jurisdiction over terrorism in Caracas also requires defendants.

“As an Assembly we have to demand that international law be complied with, we have to demand that Delgado Tabosky be handed over, that Colombia hand over the intellectual author of the frustrated assassination Julio Borges,” he said.

During his speech, the former minister recounted the events and the sentences received by each of the accused. “They are murderers and murderers who had no shame in killing hundreds of people (…) We will not be able to rest until everyone involved pays,” he said.

But those were not the only controversial statements by the psychiatrist. After an intervention by deputy José Brito (Democratic Alliance – Anzoátegui) on the protests against Onapre, the president of the AN spent about five minutes defending the Venezuelan salary.
