However, days before, it was he who requested the resignation of peter castle of his position as president.
This request arose as a result of the surprising curfew that Pedro Castillo ordered on April 5 in response to the carrier strike.
“Eleven million citizens of Lima and Callao wake up without mobility to bring food to their homes. Speaking to the press, Muñoz said that “you have to realize” when you don’t know how to manage. “He has not rectified how badly he has been working, the position is too big for him and decisions have to be made. The first to realize this is him and say: ‘As president I am not working well’ and I step aside and seek an orderly succession for the good of the country”, he indicated.
He also criticized the head of the ministerial cabinet, Hannibal Torres, for his praise of the genocidal Adolf Hitler by trying to exemplify the need to improve the infrastructure in the country. “The only thing that the premier has had have been peculiar manifestations, so to speak. Every day there is a phrase or mention that catches the eye, ”he said.

Jorge Muñoz: the works he did not do
During the beginning of his administration, in 2018, Muñoz promised the construction of cable cars that would link San Juan de Lurigancho and Independencia. However, this project will not materialize soon, since its profile-level pre-investment study was recently approved after 135 observations were found. The new mayor of Lima will have to take charge. Another work that will stop is the expansion of the Ramiro Prialé highway as an alternative route to the Central Highway.
