After returning from the city of Arequipa, where he participated in the assembly of regional governors, Vice Governor Jaime Escobar García, stated that an understanding between the national authorities should be sought to get out of the political crisis.
“Under agreement and unanimously, all the governors were right so that they can speak to the National Executive and improve this problem that we have between the executive and legislative powers and we speak so that the elections can be advanced and both parties desist”, Escobar Garcia stated.

He added: “As authorities, the position was to pronounce ourselves, I think a good conclusion was reached, where we all unanimously pronounce ourselves for this warning.”
When asked his position on the actions of Congress, he said that, having been a legislator, many times they are dedicated to just criticizing, but, when assuming the executive part, it is different.
“It is seen from another panorama, it is seen in another way, sometimes we advance, we must look for those responsible, for example, in the Castrovirreyna hospital, it is not the fault of the Regional Government, it is the company that asks for additional, we want to advance, the Council it demands that it be started and it cannot be done, there are steps to be taken”, affirmed the acting lieutenant governor.
Likewise, regarding the executive chaired by Pedro Castillo, he opined: “As a person, I think that there are things that are slipping away from him (Pedro Castillo), out of hand, I consider that everything is a criterion and, in my opinion, it is not being well advised.”
He believed that he has problems with the legislature that does not let him work, he also said that there are problems that surround him, such as the case of Yenifer Paredes, of his ministers, of the money found in a bathroom of the Government Palace, among others.
“Huancavelica supported it for the most part and so far it has brought absolutely nothing, except the Castrovireyna Hospital (which is paralyzed)… For Huancavelica there is nothing concrete, that is why I spoke out, we have supported it and so far we are not taken care of,” Escobar García said.
