Jaime Barría achieves his second win of the season in the big leagues

The Panamanian Jaime Barria had an excellent outing where the Angels defeated the Chicago White Sox 12 runs to 5 at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Barria (2-2) achieved his second victory this season by pitching 5 solid innings allowing one run, 4 hits, striking out 6 and putting his ERA at 1.59 in his last few starts. The Panamanian has looked very solid and is gaining confidence to continue as a starter for the Angels.

In the game he was supported on offense by Shohei Ohtani who hit 2 home runs and drove in 4 runs in three at-bats.
