Iván Chanis: “Corina Cano thinks that LGBT people are not human beings and do not deserve the same protections”

Iván Chanis from the Fundación Iguales spoke with Radio Panama about the General Assembly of the Organization of American States that is currently taking place in Washington DC where they are talking about, among other issues, human rights and equality of persons, where all voices had the opportunity to talk about it.

“It is already customary that in days prior to the OAS General Assembly, anti-rights groups organize a smear campaign, also led by politicians such as Congresswoman Corina Cano in Panama,” said Chanis.
