The National Encounter Party decided to expel the candidate for deputy, Diego Oliver, for his striking campaign proposal, which consists of the elimination of the Ministry of Women, Children and INDI. However, within the same nucleation they ignored what was stated by the candidate for the Senate, Bruno Defelippe, who called for the censorship of a media outlet.

The statement of the Alianza Encuentro Nacional stated that the expulsion in a “definitive manner” of the candidate for deputy by capital, Diego Oliver, it is due to the “repeated unconsulted and unilateral positions” of the same.

This decision comes after Diego Oliver has announced his proposal to eliminate the Ministry of Women, Children and INDI, considering that they are institutions that only waste money.

From the National Meeting they “disavow” any opinion issued by the candidate, in addition to prohibiting the use of the party logo.

They also added that they will continue to fight “with the same strength from the democratic spirit” and defending citizen rights.

However, the measure taken by the National Meeting was questioned on social networks, considering that They did not offer any position after the statements of one of their candidates for the Senate, Bruno Defelippe, who issued some unfortunate comments that violate freedom of the press and expression.

The husband of the candidate for the Vice Presidency of the Republic for the National Concertation, Soledad Núñez, said that the circulation of the newspaper La Nación should be “prohibited”, belonging to the Cartes Group, arguing that “trout surveys” are presented.
