Investigation of "stolen" newborn in Los Mina advances

Police officers, attached to the Central Investigation Directorate (Dicrim), reported this Sunday that they are deepening the investigations in search of the new born denounced as stolen from her mother at dawn this Saturday from the postpartum area of ​​the San Lorenzo de Los Mina Maternal and Child Hospital, in Santo Domingo Este.

According to a press release, in relation to the case, Dicrim officials have interviewed more than 10 people in search of information that allows clarifying the case and locating the babyincluding doctors, nurses, security personnel, taxi drivers and the infant’s young mother, whose identity is withheld.

The Police specified that as soon as the case was reported by the medical and security personnel of the aforementioned health center, a team of officers went to the Los Minas Maternity to initiate the investigations, for which multiple actions have been carried out, including the corresponding surveys according to the protocols in this type of situation.

The body of the order affirmed that progress has been made in the investigative process, for which it hopes to respond to the case, to restore happiness to the mother of the girl and their relatives.
