Puerto Plata,- A intern rioted this Monday at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Center of this city.
According to official sources provided to this medium, the rebel recluseis a native of San Juan de La Maguana, who was in punishment, which proceeded to set fire to the mattress where he slept.
As soon as this incident was recorded, the Prison Surveillance and Treatment (VTP) agents of the prison compound took control of the unexpected situation.
The attempted mutiny did not leave any injuries as it was generated by the aforementioned inmate who was in an isolation cell presumably for not respecting the prison protocols.
