This Wednesday, May 4, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) presented its monthly report on prices, corresponding to April.
In the last 12 months to April 2022, inflation stood at 9.37%, while in March it was 9.38%, in February 8.85% and in January it was 8.15%.
Variations
The main incidences, in the monthly variation of the index, come from the following divisions: “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” (-0.05), “Housing” (0.09), “Transportation” (0.24) and ” Restaurants and hotels” (0.13), according to INE data.
