Elios Tue’egi Takuangi Mbyvangi, 30 years old and Isa Jyrygi, 28 years old, They decided to join their lives in the bond of marriage, something totally out of the ordinary in the community, but with the intention of setting an example for their children.

The peculiarity of the event occurs since it is outside of what is contemplated in the community. “They used to unite in concubinage and live that way. For them there is no burden from the spiritual side, nor from the law,” explained one of those present at the ceremony.

The wedding took place last Friday, November 25, in the Cathedral of Praise in the city of Fernando de la Mora. The religious ceremony was officiated by Pastor Bernardo Bobadilla.

The couple’s goal was to leave a precedent for the community, whose members have already been evangelized and therefore, they did not take the ceremony as a grievance and even, one of the leaders stated that the impact of the event called his attention and he will try to repeat the practice among the other members.

It is worth mentioning that It was a very emotional ceremony. taking care of all the details that are required for the success of the event.

The Chupa Pou Ache community It is currently made up of about 150 families, Until recently, it only had a single doctor, with the lack of first aid and basic supplies, added to the few opportunities for political participation and representation.
