The government officially announced a new tax that is integrated into the existing ones when purchasing a ticket passage aerial. This tax will be equivalent from Monday January 9 at $1.40 per passenger who intends to travel on both regional and cabotage flights (within the country).
This value of new lien arises from analyzing the amount equivalent to 0.25% of the basic salary received from the hierarchical rank of Principal Officer of the General Ranking of Police Personnel of the Airport Security Police (PSA). It will also apply to tickets air tickets for international flights where each passenger boards the plane at airports or aerodromes of the National Airport System of the Argentine Republic (SNA).
The official announcement about the increase in tickets was launched through Resolution 3, which will be implemented as of Thursday, January 12, approved by Law No. 26,102 and its Regulatory Decree No. 836/02 and its modifications. The fee of 1.40 dollars will be for the provision made by the PSA in the different airports and aerodromes that constitute the SNA, as far as interfering with illegal acts is concerned.
In addition, on February 2, the Regulatory Body of the National Airport System (ORSNA) updated the Airport Use Fee for flights coasting. Almost doubling its value, in the case of this rate on Category I domestic flights of Group A, it will go from 614 pesos to 1,100 pesos. However, international flights will not suffer this increase that governs the world’s airports and aerodromes.
