The Federal Revenue paid today (31) the residual batch of refund of the Individual Income Tax (IRPF) of January 2022. The bank credit will be made to 136,565 taxpayers, in the total amount of R$ 368,017,854.
Of this total, R$ 199,291,762 refer to the number of taxpayers who have legal priority, of which 3,069 are elderly over 80 years old, 20,624 aged between 60 and 79 years old, 2,349 with some physical or mental disability or serious illness and 6,568 who has the biggest source of income coming from teaching.
A further 103,955 non-priority taxpayers were included.

Payment of the refund is made to the bank account informed in the income tax return, directly or by indication of a PIX key. If, for some reason, the credit is not carried out (for example, the account informed has been deactivated), the amounts will be available for redemption for up to one year at Banco do Brasil.
In this case, the citizen will be able to reschedule the credit of the amounts by BB portal or by calling the BB Relationship Center through telephones 4004-0001 (capital cities), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (special telephone number exclusively for the hearing impaired).
