The mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, inaugurated a new operations room at the headquarters of the Municipal Police of Caracas, in the Parroquia el Paraíso.
Meléndez explained that during the security day he delivered 45 technical aids, which includes a fleet of motorcycles, and provided uniforms to officials and their families.
“We are transforming, bringing that well-being to the policemen (…) and that their accommodation and the instruments for daily work are up to date”, highlighted the Mayor.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of the Integrated Police System, G/D José Eugenio Rojas, delivered a fleet of motorcycles to serve the population of Caracas.
“It is our own police officers who become brigadistas to meet the needs of their own facilities,” Rojas stressed.
