He Army of Dominican Republic (ERD) reported today that during an operation interdiction migratory stopped a bus with 24 haitians in irregular immigration situation.
According to a press release, a patrol of the ERD carried out the arrest of the bus in which the undocumented.
The vehicle was driven by Juan Carlos Polanco Martínezwho will be presented before the Public Ministry.
The institution explained that the group included the Haitian Duce Yonel, holder of a card from the General Directorate of Migrationwhich accredits him with a temporary work permit (TT-1), for which he was released.
Also on board as passengers were three dominicans who, according to reports, were heading to the municipality of Hope.
He Army indicated that the group of undocumented immigrants will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration for the corresponding process.
