Drivers drive renovation of structures
The mayor of the Jesús María Semprúm municipality, Wuyhsmans González, said that in this entity the informative assemblies were held to choose the promoters of each street, for what will be the renewal of the structures of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.
“The militant who assumes the position of promoter must guarantee transparency, be a factor of unity and promote maximum participation,” said González.
González stressed that the militant inclusion in the informative assemblies is fundamental so that they know the methodology and importance of the renewal of the PSUV structures.
“We will develop the process, in accordance with the PSUV regulations, by voting in plenary sessions we will designate the street, community and team leaders of the UBCH, with the aim of increasing our party’s capacity for political action,” he said.

They choose street promoters in Miranda municipality
Militants of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in the Miranda municipality of Zulia state, participated this weekend in the informative assemblies to choose the promoters, who from August 20 to September 3 will begin the renovation of the structures of the match.
Jorge Nava, Bolivarian mayor of the Miranda municipality and maximum leader of the PSUV in the entity, toured the communities, together with the deputies of the National Assembly, Liceila Urdaneta and Juan García; the delegates of the Psuv and Jpsuv, as well as the party’s political team, with the aim of accompanying the people in this important process.
Juan Rodríguez, municipal organizer of the party highlighted: “There were assemblies in each street of the Mirandina entity choosing the promoter or promoter, who has the responsibility of promoting the participation of the militancy and being a guarantor of the transparency of the electoral event.”
Regarding the participation quorum, Rodríguez explained that “the regulation establishes a reference that varies according to the number of inhabitants of each territory; in the case of street leaders they are elected by 15 people; for the community leader it could be 50 voters and the UBCH teams require approximately 120 militants.
Rodríguez stressed that the coordination of the renewal process of the PSUV is in charge of the national leadership, which appointed an auxiliary body to direct the process at each of the three territorial levels, assuming the direction, leadership, supervision, surveillance and control of the same. .
Finally, he recognized the PSUV’s militancy in the Miranda municipality for being an example of discipline, commitment and participation: “I am proud to see my people organized, which shows that we have empowered popular power,” he emphasized.
UBCH of La Guaira renew grassroots leadership
In the state of La Guaira during this weekend, social leaders, communities and members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) of the entity, mobilized to start the informative assemblies for the renewal of the base structures of the red awning.
The process will be carried out until September 3, the Psuv militancy and leaders of La Guaira will have to renew 3,689 street leaders, 689 community leaders and 202 heads of UBCH, for this first stage.
“The assemblies will be held simultaneously in the streets and communities. We are giving a renewal to our structure, today more than ever we have the opportunity to say who are those true born leaders in the streets and territories, to continue working for the legacy of Comandante Chávez” said Yosander García, responsible for mobilization and events of the PSUV in the Catia La Mar parish.
The objective is to build the auxiliary state and parish body that will be in charge of ensuring full compliance with all the guidelines and regulations issued by the PSUV for the future renewal of bases.
During a tour of sweeps of La Guaira, a little more was known about this process, such as that of the UBCh Vista al Mar, Catia La Mar parish, which must elect 47 base promoters, where the participation of new young leadership stands out, as well such as transparency for grassroots elections.
«Catia La Mar, is a parish with a population from La Guaira, it has 144 communities and 937 street leaders, so there is a spontaneous mobilization and the people move with conscience. They will have to choose a promoter who will be in charge of carrying out the base process that the PSUV has until September 3, ”said Nayare Pérez, territorial manager of Axis 2 of the Catia La Mar parish.
This internal process of the PSUV has been carried out for three days with training assemblies on how to carry out the process and the selection of the auxiliary body in the territory of the Guaireño coast.
José Alejandro Terán, regional delegate for the PSUV National Directorate, “we do all of this in order to guarantee the irreversibility of the revolutionary and Bolivarian process.
