The ruler Nicolás Maduro arrived on Sunday May 28 to the airport of the Military Air Base in the city of Brasilia, in the context of his official visit to the Federative Republic of Brazil and his participation in the Meeting of Presidents of South American countries.
Maduro’s departure to Brazil is his first visit since 2015, when he attended the inauguration of former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.

On May 19, Venezuela and Brazil reviewed their cooperation agreements and evaluated new proposals.
