The Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health revealed that to date in Panama there have been 917,912 accumulated cases of Covid-19, of which 1,989 are new positive cases today. Is notified one (1) death that correspond to the last 24 hours, but three (3) from previous dates are updated for a total of 8,352 accumulated deaths and a lethality that remains at 0.9%.

Active cases add up 14,520 in all the country. 14,300 are in home isolation and 220 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 14,288 at home and 12 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 187 Ward and 33 in ICU.
The districts with the highest number of positive cases today are: Juan Díaz (Panama) with 87 cases; San Francisco (Panama) 78 cases; Rufina Alfaro with 77 cases; Bella Vista (Panama) with 67 cases and Parque Lefevre with 65 cases.
