Alleged femicide commits suicide in the police station dungeon

The lawyer Michelle Betancour, denounced physical and verbal abuse by the senator of the Guasu Front, Miguel Fulgencio “Kencho” Rodríguez. She herself indicated that she will request the removal of immunity from the parliamentarian.

The lawyer reported that she was verbally and physically attacked during the incidental eviction in the district of Tembiaporã, department of Caaguazú.

However, the dispute already began during the session of the Commission on Indigenous Affairs, in which the senator and the lawyer also participated. “The senator cuts off my word and tells me that I have no right to speak when I tried to defend my client,” she said in a conversation with Universo 970 of Nación Media.

The dispute moved this Tuesday to the property in conflict, where the senator was constituted for a meeting with the president of the INDI. “They left me out when I am the representative of the owner of the lands that are invaded,” he said.

“He found me in the street, he started to insult me, he said rude things and he passed his hand over my face,” the lawyer said.

The lawyer announced a criminal complaint against the senator, in addition to requesting his parliamentary immunity.

For his part, the senator denounced the lawyer before the local Police Station for allegedly obstructing the passage to the Legislative Commission.
