Despite the protest marches, the celebrations for the patronal festival of San Fabián and San Sebastián in Huancavelica did not stop happening.
After carrying out the traditional preparations, such as the arrival of bands or the “albazo”, as every January 20, the two litters of the saint were taken out in procession through the streets of downtown Huancavelica.
The traditional small anda, known as “Killy” also went out in procession, always with the hundreds of coins with which it is decorated.

In said traditional festival two litters come out, both of San Sebastián represented at the moment of his death pierced with arrows, the largest one comes out behind and has its own butler.
In the same way, later another effigy appears, of the same saint, who is also the patron saint of athletes, much smaller, but this one has the particularity of being surrounded by hundreds of coins around it, which is part of the tradition in Huancavelica.

The procession left the San Sebastián Church, located in the Bolognesi Park, in the midst of the rain and the sun, toured the Virrey Toledo shred, took a walk around the Plaza de Armas and finally stayed in the same temple.
