BHD participated in a forum on investment and tourism in Fitur

Madrid Spain. Banco BHD participated in the Connection Forum: Relations between the Dominican Republic and Spain. Tourism and investment, carried out at the University of Nebrija by the embassy of the Dominican Republic to the Kingdom of Spain.

Luis Molina Maríñez, Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Banking at Banco BHD, was one of the panelists at this forum. He talked about the objectives and the proposal that the BHD will be promoting during its speech at Fitur, the Bank’s participation in the Miches development plan, the valuation of Spanish tourism investment in the Dominican Republic and about how tourism and investment have fostered and strengthened relations between Spain and the Dominican Republic.

The other panelists were David Llibre, president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores); Biviana Riveiro, director of the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic – ProDominicana; Narciso Casado, general director of CEOE Internacional and permanent secretary of the Council of Ibero-American Entrepreneurs (CEIB), and Juan Luis Cebrián, president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic in Spain. Crismeidy Ureña, director and founder of Soy Caribe Premium Magazine, was the moderator.

Samuel Esteban Peña, in charge of Cultural Affairs, Communication and Press of the embassy of the Dominican Republic in Spain, offered the words of welcome; Juan Bolívar Díaz, ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Kingdom of Spain, gave the opening remarks; while José Manuel Vargas D’Oleo, Counselor for Commercial, Investment and Tourism Affairs of the Dominican embassy to the Kingdom of Spain, made the initial presentation on the recovery of tourism during 2022 and investment projects.
