In CDMX, Morena lost votes in revocation regarding the 2021 elections

In the June 2021 elections, Morena obtained a total of 1 million 542,527 votes in her coalition with the PT, while in the revocation of the mandate she added 1 million 325,503 votes in favor of the president remaining in office.

According to the data obtained in the general calculations, both from the 2021 elections, and from last Sunday’s consultation, it stands out that 10 mayorships registered a fall in participation and in five it rose.

There are particular cases such as Álvaro Obregón, currently governed by the PAN, PRI and PRD alliance, where there was a 54% drop in citizen participation compared to the votes obtained in 2021, by Morena’s candidate for mayor, Eduardo Santillán .

Morenista mayoralties such as Venustiano Carranza, Iztapalapa and Gustavo A. Madero registered a drop in participation of 44%, 24% and 20%, respectively.

In contrast, in the mayor’s office Cuajimalpa, governed by the aliancista Adrián RubalcavaMorena obtained 28,578 votes last year and 49,557 in the revocation of the mandate, that is, it presents a 72% more participation.
