The Ministry of Labor together with the Special Unit for Pension and Parafiscal Management, (Ugpp), They presented the balance of the jobs generated as a result of the incentives of the national government in the framework of the economic reactivation.

The labor portfolio confirmed that as a result of the Generation Incentive
of New Employment, including the one that occurred with the ‘Shake yourself’ strategy, 274,142 jobs were generated throughout the country.
According to figures from the Ugpp, the entity in charge of verifying compliance with the requirements of employers who apply to receive state support, 217,644 jobs were created for young people between the ages of 18 and 28; 31,978 for women and 24,520 for men over 28 years of age.
According to the Ministry, the incentives of the National Government to support payrolls, stimulate economic reactivation and the protection of formal employment, benefited 14,096 employers through 2021 payrolls, who receive the stimulus for each of the additional workers linked after March of the previous year.
“With this we have delivered a total of $111,862 million to employers, who are making the effort to expand their payrolls and support the recovery of employment. We want all companies and cooperatives to apply”said the Minister of Labor, Ángel Custodio Cabrera.
