In 2018 they detected an alleged parallel platform of Sunacrip

Since 2018, there has been talk of a parallel platform with which the resources from the sale of oil allegedly disappeared, according to investigations.

The Public Ministry recently said that the corruption plot detected in the oil industry was executed through parallel operations of the National Superintendence of Cryptoactives (Sunacrip).

One of these technological platforms was detected on November 23, 2018 when the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim) carried out an operation in a hotel located in the El Rosal urbanization, Chacao (Miranda), according to police sources.

On that occasion, the authorities identified three men of Colombian nationality who were staying at the hotel from where they operated the Petro platform “with the Sunacrip source codes,” said the police intelligence source.

The alleged participants in that event are: Leonardo Malavera Gómez, Jhonny Edilberto Caballero Botía and Walter Arlex Gómez Cheverry, who were abruptly removed from Venezuela.
