Imprisoned and dismissed director of Rodeo III

The director of the Rodeo III Judicial Confinement Center, located in Guatire (Miranda), Jessica Terán, was detained by members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources. The deputy director of that prison was also arrested.

All of this occurred after a search carried out by the GNB at that prison on the orders of the Minister for the Penitentiary Service, Celsa Bautista. On that occasion, the military located 368 grams of cocaine and 302 of marijuana, according to reports.

Last Saturday, Bautista made a supervision visit to Rodeo III “in order to verify the actions carried out to strengthen the Penitentiary System in this important center,” according to an announcement made through his twitter account where he posted photos of the event.

Bautista took advantage of that day to install the new director of that prison, Oscar Briceño, “who assumes this responsibility to comply with the programmatic actions and strategic lines of the 9th Vertex of the Great Peace Quadrants Mission.”
