Illegal mining camp dismantled in Bolívar with 17 motorized pumps

Three citizens arrested

In the procedure, the FANB arrested three citizens who were practicing illegal mining.

The citizens were detained “destroying the vegetal layer of the environment with illegal mining, disrespecting the territorial legal order and the 5th Historical Objective of the nation,” said the Chief of Ceofanb.

FANB active against illegal mining

The dismantling of the camp in Bolívar was carried out as part of the strategic security, defense and environmental protection operations carried out by the FANB in ​​strategic states.

Given the discovery of camps and these illegal mining practices, the Chief of Ceofanb has emphasized that these irregular groups that commit damage to the environment and protected sectors will be legally intervened.
