IGP-DI has a price drop of 0.62% in October

The General Price Index – Internal Availability (IGP-DI), measured by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), had deflation (price fall) of 0.62% in October this year. In September, deflation had been more pronounced (-1.22%).IGP-DI has a price drop of 0.62% in October

As a result, the IGP-DI accumulates inflation rates of 4.89% in the year and 5.59% in 12 months.

The Broad Producer Price Index (IPA), which measures wholesale, deflated 1.04% in October, compared to a price drop of 1.68% in September.

Retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), changed from 0.02% in September to 0.69% in October.

The National Construction Cost Index (INCC), in turn, rose from 0.09% to 0.12% in the period.
