It is in this context that settlers entered through the exarco of the Santa Ana neighborhood, also through the Exit to Ica in the Yananaco neighborhood, and through other parts of the city, until finally conglomerating in the Plaza de Armas of Huancavelica (front of Cathedral).

During their journey, the demonstrators burned tires in some parts of the city, such as at the intersection of Jirón Cuzco and Andrés Avelino Cáceres Avenue, and at the exit to Lircay (before starting Los Chancas Avenue).

Also, during their journey, the residents asked that the cost of living be lowered. They also questioned the current management of the Provincial Municipality of Huancavelica (MPH), mainly due to the informality that exists in the transport service.

“It is visible to the population when a management is poorly managed. The municipality still hasn’t solved the informality and the increase in the automobile fleet,” said Díaz, who rejected the vandalism that occurred in Huancayo.

“There are various ways to protest, and vandalism is not one of them. Asking for our right does not excuse acts of looting,” said Julio Melchor, a doctor.
