Girl from Ambush will fulfill two years of disappearance

The little girl who disappeared on April 15, 2020 in Ambush continues with an unknown whereabouts and in more days it will be two years since the tragic day. The girl’s grandfather remembers that they found many traces of blood in her stepfather’s truck and he does not have much hope of finding his granddaughter.

The Prosecutor’s Office has no news about the whereabouts of the missing girl a month after the pandemic began in Paraguay, in full force of the total quarantine.

Numerous raids have been carried out since then and the only defendants were the girl’s stepfather and mother, who are now free. Both were initially prosecuted for breach of duty of care and neglect.

As of the opening of a case against the German citizen, for child pornography, the identity of the victim was no longer mentioned, out of respect for the law on the protection of minors.

“Our theory is that he is not alive, because a lot of blood was taken from the (stepfather’s) truck and he was not a butcher, so what is the blood going to be from?” the girl’s grandfather said in an interview with the 1080AM.

He indicated that, despite the fact that the Public Ministry said it had appointed the best investigators, so far nothing is known about the whereabouts of the little girl.

Initially it had been said that the girl went out to play and that she went after two goats, which were later found kilometers from the main ranch, having had to overcome extremely difficult and impossible paths for this type of animal.

Due to this, it was ruled out that the goats have reached such a distance by their own means and needless to say that the girl, who also had motor difficulties, has managed to move there alone.
