This was stated by the general director of the National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep), Rafael Santos Badiawho detailed that during the 2020-2022 period, that institution gave 56,218 training actions or courses, which impacted on one million 59 thousand 726 participants.
In addition, 5,841 companies received training and advice, and 146,956 middle management managers and more than 371,000 workers received services.

Likewise, some 123 new companies were linked to the Dual Training Program. 480 young apprentices graduated from this modality.
“But that’s not all, we prepared the Institutional Strategic Plan 2020-2024, we carried out the National Consultation on the Future of Professional Technical Training and we approved the Alignment Plan for Face-to-Face and Semi-Face-to-Face Technical Professional Training, in the face of Covid-19” Santos Badía recalled.
He added that the expansion plan is added to the above, through which two new Regional Directorates have been incorporated: Cibao Sur and another in Santo Domingo Este. Also the Josefa Brea Technology Center and 12 Community Technology Centers.
